Professionals We Seek
Translators
Lenguae translators must be fluent in at least one source and target languages, have cultural knowledge and sensitivity to accurately convey the intended meaning, pay close attention to details, know how to use translation tools and software, manage their time well to meet projects deadlines, have strong proofreading and editing skills to review their work and adhere to our strict ethical standards.
Candidates who have subject matter expertise, experience, and a good portfolio or references are preferred.
Interpreters
Interpreters wishing to work at Lenguae must be fluent in at least one source and target language, have a deep understand of grammar, vocabulary and cultural nuances to translate accurately, be good listeners and speakers, have good memory and concentration, think quickly and have a problem-solving mindset, be resilient in face of emotionally charged environments (such as legal courts and healthcare settings) and adhere to our strict ethical and confidentiality policies. Also, being able to adapt to different situations is desirable.
Candidates who have subject matter expertise, experience, and a good portfolio or references are preferred.
Language Teachers
Our language teachers must be fluent in both target and source language, have degrees, certifications and qualifications in language education is desirable, communicate clearly (with empathy to understand and patience to explain), show adaptability and use different teaching methods, know how to inspire students and motivate them to continue learning, have technological competency to use educational tools, apps and resources, know how to create and foster a positive environment for learning.
